Monday May 6, 2019 - Spencer Spit to Friday Harbor

Calm night but the wind started picking up at 6:30am and just kept rising. Was blowing pretty good by the time we left around 9:15. So we snuck the boats between the spit and Frost Island to give us a better angle (Greg's idea) and it worked out really well. By the time we got through, the chop wasn't too bad and then we got into Upright Channel where the wind was down to 2 knots!
